A unique meeting platform for the sector.
Organised under the slogan “Securing the Future for the Past”, Heritage Istanbul aims, through its conferences, to discuss key developments in the sector and host inspiring talks by professionals and academics; through its fair, to showcase global trends and technologies in cultural heritage with expert organisations from Turkey and Europe in archaeology, restoration, museology and librarianship; and through its workshops, to raise visitor awareness.

In 2023, our CEO Hakan Kaçar took the stage together with Prof. Pietro Livi of the University of Bologna and Consuelo Martinez Rendo of Preservation Technologies.
In the panel “Restoration and Conservation Methods for Damaged Books and Papers”, current techniques and approaches in paper and book restoration were shared with attendees alongside international experts.
